When we feel manipulated we usually resent it. More often we are not aware of hidden cues that affect our emotions and actions.  A pattern, movement, seemingly inconsequential gesture or other “signal”  unconsciously influences how we feel about someone or a situation.

With the advent of technology we are rapidly learning more ways we are swayed by incidents, sequences of actions, smells and more.
