After the war, my father worked on a fire lookout station in a remote forest in Oregon.  He called my mother on the (public) government phone line, asking her to marry him.  Thank goodness she said yes because he took quite a ribbing from those on other lookouts who could not help but hear him.  Fast forward to today’s google world where clever Michael Weiss-Malik involved his comrades in a much more public way to propose. What a romantic Me2We method. Sort of a less permanent version of roof shouts.  Thanks Simone at Laughing Squid.  Here’s to more location-based collaboration and fun.
